Christian Mysticism

What does it mean to be a Christian Mystic?

Growing up as a Christian we are typically taught that using magic is bad or of the devil, also just known as “Witchcraft” well let’s take a look, a deeper look, at what magic is. First off, I would like to say I am, by no way, telling anyone to give up their way of thinking or beliefs, but rather offering my own perspective and a new insight on what magic truly is.

There are many definitions of magic and witchcraft you will see on the internet, but they do not really capture what magic truly means. “Magic” overall, is the use of one’s mana which is the soul’s essence and the will/intent to do something astral or 4th dimensionally speaking. So here is an example, whenever you pray to God (The Creator of all/The Alpha and the Omega, etc.) you use your mana by sending that energy of your will and intent to the Creator, God, Yahweh (from a Jewish perspective), or Allah (from a Muslim perspective). Praying to God is literally just the same way any pagan would do at their alter that we do pretty much at a church every Sunday. Praying to a GOD at an ALTER is like a pagan praying to their GOD at an ALTER on a selected day maybe for a specific spell. Now granted as a Christian we can typically pray whenever we feel like, but so can any Pagan.

Let’s talk about incantations really quick, so for those that don’t know, a lot of what went down in the bible dealt with much of witchcraft and sorcery. If we go off of sources outside the bible from reading the “Sefer Yetzirah” or the Kabbalah, which is the ancient Jewish tradition of mystical interpretation of the Bible, we learn that at some point in early history: magic was allowed. The book of Psalms are spells written by King David,¬† King Solomon, and Moses and was taught magic by God. Magic isn’t all doom and gloom either, originally it was there for the bettering of mankind, but yes people did abuse it doing black magic trying to manipulate another person’s freewill or causing harm among someone else. Child sacrifices to Moloch obviously was a very bad thing or any human sacrifice is never good and of only demonic, evil work . King Solomon’s lineage abused witchcraft horribly. In the “Testament of Solomon,” which is an ancient manuscript or grimoire, it is described that he had the power to command demons due to a ring given to him from the Arch Angel Micheal and this ring is often called the “Seal of Solomon” or otherwise known as the “Star of David” (The 6 sided star is a symbol of masculine and feminine energies along with the cross) now granted we do not know how truly accurate this is but if this did actually happen that would be a very interesting truth to be known.¬† Moses’ brother Aaron, his rod/staff held much mystical importance as well as it was made from almond bark, this is mentioned in Numbers Chapter 17 and Hebrews 9:4. A lot of animal sacrifices are mentioned in the old testament of the bible, as typically this was used for magic as well, however it is thought that when Jesus died on the cross, he was the sacrifice for all our sins so that those plant and animal sacrifices were no longer needed. Of course there are some horror stories of sacrifice as well, in the year 1702 Thomas Busby was trialed and found guilty for the murder of Daniel Awety, but before he died, he would literally curse his favorite chair that anyone who sat on it would die and well since he died, he was the sacrifice for that chair and the chair is now hanging up in a museum in North Yorkshire, UK. With a 63-kill count, it’s probably hanging up and not allowed to sit in to this day for a very damn good reason.

Really quick what is a sacrifice? Yeah a person dying is definitely a powerful sacrifice, Jesus Christ is our proof. Amen. Modern day typically burning of incense or oil and herbs is done (Not that bad right?), but I got a better one. Sometimes all that is needed for a legit sacrifice is literally your energy. Your tears or someone crying into their prayer or spell, all of that emotion is so strong and passionate that it may definitely be heard. To the Christians out there, have you ever noticed the prayers that you really end up putting your all into with that emotion end up coming true or being answered the most? Your energy and your love and your intent that you put behind those prayers was your sacrifice ūüôā

Jesus dying for our sins was probably the biggest moment in history as a few things had happened. Purgatory in theory would have been created, as purgatory is essentially your second chance to get into Heaven, it is also very similar to the Astral Plane. Jesus dying on the cross had literally invented the school of Christian Mysticism. Exorcism incantations being cast in the name of Jesus Christ could now be done. When Jesus died on the cross that cross became no longer just a symbol of combination of masculine and feminine energies, but a weapon against demons and wicked spirits. In the book of Acts, Paul is a total badass and is able to exorcism in the name of Jesus. The disciples of Christ could heal the sick, conduct exorcisms, and perform miracles all in the name of the savior Jesus Christ/Yahshua. In Acts 16:18 (She kept this up for many days. Finally, Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her) it seemed like Paul may have been even able to do it with ease. His faith in Jesus was so strong, his mana or will/intent must have been pretty great. Jesus loves everyone and did not judge, this is most evident in the famous verse John 8:7 “Let he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone at her.” Jesus didn’t judge pagans or magic users harshly either as it just wouldn’t make sense. The main sin that Jesus mentioned he was against was about divorce in Matthew 19: 8-11. That being said, these divorce rates lately in that last couple decades should highly be addressed lol. Before Jesus Christ, any exorcism was typically done through Angelic Mysticism and ancient Jewish Mysticism.

Angelic Mysticism, originally taught to Enoch (who is the ancestor of Noah) was taught by the Arch Angel Uriel. Eventually he would be raptured and become the angel known as Metatron. The angels, the Nephilim, the other deities, and gods have always been there. Angelic Mysticism is tricky and most information you find about it come mainly from sources from medieval times and that typically isn’t the most trusted sources as sometimes you may accidentally stumble across demonic sigils or man made sigils and not actual angelic sigils. As a matter of fact, real angelic sigils are most likely lost throughout the time, so you are better off meditating for a sigil in your own subconscious for that type of magic, as it is way safer to do so. The best bet is honestly Catholic traditional prayers to St. Micheal or St. Raphael (Arch Angels Micheal and Raphael) as these are often the same prayers or incantations usually used for exorcism and healing. Alright my pagan friends, don’t hate on the Catholic Church too much as they have some pretty famous figures that are worth honorable mentions, as they are labeled as Christian Mystics. St. Joseph of Cupertino and Padre Pio are quite known for their superhuman miracles. St. Joseph of Cupertino was able to levitate and fly so essentially aerokinesis or heavy amount of mana due to his devoted worship to God. Honestly, that is probably the most motivational thing ever to want to be a Christian Mystic. Padre Pio was able to heal a 14 year old boy from Typhus whom had it for years and both him and St. Francis of Assisi had Stigmata. Some of these saints were able to glow and had many spiritual gifts which is all due to a devotion of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, this would be a good time to reference 1st Corinthians 12:28, “In the Church God has appointed first of all the Apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those to help others, those with the gifts of administration, and those speaking in different tongues.”

So what about a Christian that wants to worship God and the god Thor? Well if you have a gut feeling like really shouldn’t, then don’t. If you’re feeling ambitious and would like to, then maybe start your prayer or spell starting with “In the name of Creator…” or “In the name of Jesus, I call upon…” this way your at least putting Yahweh first and still holding true to the 10 commandments. Myself personally, despite everything I’ve learned, the only god I worship, is the creator or God the almighty, Yahweh, YHWH, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have awesome pagan friends or wiccans that will gladly all pray together and pay our respects, that or we’ll kick it and play some Pokemon or some shit. Jesus wanted everyone not to judge and love one another. Being a Christian Mystic means we look past the boundaries of the mainstream church or mainstream ways of thinking that only promote hate and negativity and take a deeper understanding in what Jesus taught. Hey, I’m not the only one, like I said, there were others before me who were Christian Mystics like St. Joseph of Cupertino or the big man himself, Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, when it comes to magic whether you should do it or not, ask yourself, “Why am I doing magic first?” Remember it always starts with the will and intent. Are you going to cause some poor bastard harm? If so, then I really think you shouldn’t be doing magic or are you going to give back to nature or promote healing and loving intentions with magic? If so, then do the magic or go do Reiki healing because the earth, Mother Nature, and lot of people, need healing.

Y2K

Ok so this isn’t going to be as long as some of my other blogs however this will be some good food for thought (Haha see what I did there lol?) this will cover what exactly would last you the longest. So with that being said let’s first cover what exactly will not last long at all.

Now bare in mind this topic will be also addressing if you did NOT have a refrigerator or a freezer so straight up pre-modern era style or let’s say if a SHTF scenario where you were the unlucky poor soul who was not prepared for a doomsday situation but that’s okay sometimes this crap can happen out of no where many would not be ready if something were to happen unexpected. We all know that¬†Raw ground meats, all poultry, seafood, and variety meats can be refrigerated for 2 days and others such as steak maybe a good 3 to 4 days and in a freezer most meats last 2-3 months, however steak, chicken and shellfish being an exception to where they can last at most 12 months or 1 year but unless your willing to hunt for meat and you know how to shoot and preserve your meat then it would actually not be as efficient, now if you had the resources to do so and your good with firearms then that is good but we are more so addressing what could be stored the longest with being obtained the fastest. Fishing might also be very much a pain during the winter but can be easy to do so long as the water is not frozen for catching fish. This is also another acquired skill where you will want to know what fish is good to eat and which are not and if you do not have this skill yet at the time then here are all the other options;

Grains:

Flour – Anything can be flour if grinded up from wheat to even acorns (Which is gluten free) but on average white flour will last one year if stored at room temperature. Wheat in general if the most efficient thing to grow and we as human beings have been storing this since the ancient era.

Oats –¬†The next best crop would be oats as they can last up to 2 years at most and this is just oats (dried) not oatmeal cooked.

Corn –¬†At room temperature corn will only last up till 3 days, corn without a freezer or refrigerator will not last long unless you own a silo on a farm. That will require special airtight grain storing bins and the capability to only have 15% moisture for your corn. There are many techniques for storing corn as well without a refrigerator or freezer. Farmers have been doing this for a very long time.

Rice –¬†It will vary depending on whether white rice or brown rice, though it is thought white rice will last longer than brown however both last up until 6 months uncooked.

Barley –¬†On average barley can last roughly 2 years at room temperature uncooked, however it is thought it can last 8 years if you buy some from stores and they are not used however this could be from the preservatives added.

Rye –¬†6 months on average in room temperature uncooked, though this is debatable based on how your storing it.

Flax – 1 year on average the same applies to buckwheat uncooked at room temperature.

So here are my thoughts overall on storing grains, they are without a doubt the type of food you could have that will last you the longest, at bare minimum you want crops that will give you what you need to store through the winter. Airtight bags, and 5 gallon buckets will be your savior should you not have a fridge or freezer. Oddly though it seems grains last longer in this technique vs storing in a refrigerator or freezer, such techniques of food storage can double the shelf life of grains, as for an example boxes of pasta will last and extra 2 years past the best by date, this is thought to be based on how it was stored but it can also be debated on the preservatives. Canned foods if you were to prep out last for a few years past the best by date as well definitely because of the preservatives so for this reason it’s always a good idea to strain the liquid from the can when opening a can of vegetables or fruit.

Fruit & Nuts:

Dried Beans –¬†If not the best thing to put on this list it would be dried beans as they can last 3 to 4 years when stored properly but will begin to lose moisture and possibly nutritional value over 1-2 years of storage.

Peanuts –¬†Due to the fact that peanuts are technically a bean and not a nut I thought I’d give it’s own special section. Though peanuts do work similar to a nut in term of storage as they like many of the nuts can last up to 8 to 10 months after an expired date so I would say if you store them correctly like grains you have a good couple years.

All other nuts will last and average of 6 to 9 months after a best by date or expiry date if you were to buy any from a store however pine nuts will vary and typically will not last as long as other nuts due to it’s higher oil content in it compared to other nuts.

As for soft fruit such as berries contains a lot of acid, which acts as a natural preservative and helps the fruit keep preserved for a long time so to take advantage of this one will need to learn how to can it. The canning method that works best for fruit is called water bath canning. This involves placing the fruit in sanitized jars and heating the jars to a certain temperature to kill off any bacteria. Once the jars are sealed, the canned fruit will last many months. One may also white vinegar to wash fruit with to killed bacteria and spores also before drying them.

Storing Vegetables:

In order to store call vegetables efficiently one must learn how to make a root cellar if one does not have a refrigerator or freezer. So what is a root cellar? It is any storage location that uses the earth’s natural cooling, insulating, and humidifying properties. There are many different types of root cellars the most known one to try and make is the old fashioned and classic basement cellar, the Farmer’s Alamac will also give instructions and techniques to make some of these as well as specialty books that can be bought to learn more about this. As an example though if you were use two vents they create will siphon effect that will regulate the flow of cold outside air into an insulated cellar room, allowing the temperature to remain near freezing through the winter season or one can build one from scratch using an extended built underground storage cellar room away from the foundation of the house however make sure it is not near any trees as the tree roots can crack through the cellar over time warping the foundation making all that effort to build one in vein. It might cost a bit though to acquire all that cinder blocks or bricks, gravel and cement needed for that though depending on your budget however Pinterest is good for finding quick DIY ideas.

Dairy Products:

Eggs –¬†Unfortunately eggs without a fridge are only going to last a week at room temperature. In a root cellar however they can last another 2 more weeks if stored properly.

Milk & Butter – A French crock also known as butter bell is used to keep an unrefrigerated amount of butter fresh. They work by immersing a small pot in cold water to create an airtight seal. Butter stored non-refrigerated like this can last 3 to 4 weeks. At one point butter was stored efficiently without a fridge and many people still store butter this way as well. Milk however will only last so long outside the fridge typically it was turned into cream that would then be used to turn into butter or cheese. Milk and cream can be kept fresh either in a type of “spring house” which is similar to a root cellar. If one were to have a flowing cold water stream nearby, one could use the natural colder temperature of the water to temporarily refrigerate milk and other dairy products. A spring house is built with a channel through which water from the stream can be diverted. The milk in jugs or other containers is set in the flowing water to keep it at a lower temperature.

Cheeses – To store cheeses efficiently wrap it in wax paper or parchment paper then put it in a sealed plastic bag leaving part of it opened. The paper creates a barrier between the cheese and the plastic. The alternative would be using aluminum foil but wax paper is probably the best. Length of time of how long the cheese will last will also vary on the type of cheese.

And Lastly…

Sugar & Honey –¬† Brown sugar can dry out over time as the moisture begins to evaporate in sugar but it can still be used. This will result in a hard sugar due to it clumping. Changes in the climate can also be another factor affecting the consistency of sugar. Even though the sugar gets dry and hard it is not harmful and is still safe to use it. Granulated white sugar and powder will last indefinitely. As for honey it is it’s own natural preservative it can not expire and can last literally for 3000 years, honey that lasts that long however is typically crystalized similar to amber that comes from resin and tree sap over an amount of time.

Overall I put what I knew can be stored the longest up here and to help take an open minded view about what can last the longest especially during a cold winter when it will be impossible to grow crops outside so understanding this is very important and could mean the difference between life and death in a SHTF scenario. So remember always grow grains and nuts especially during warm seasons so your prepared for the unexpected because in this day and age in this crazy world you never really know what exactly will happen next.

A Guide on Growing Trees: Part 1

Hibiscus pic.jpg

Here in this article I am going to touch base on what exactly is crucial when growing trees. Now many will struggle often on what exactly you need to grow a tree. Now the pic above is of a Hibiscus Tree. You will find that there is no “one answer that meets all” for trees, for example the Hibiscus Tree is going to have different conditions that need to be met compared to an Oak Tree or a Maple Tree. A tropical Chinese Hibiscus or Chine Rose (H. Rosa- Sinensis) can grow up to max of 15 feet or 4.5 meters and will always need a tropical environment for the best results but if that is unavailable and you are like many people reading this who want to grow one some where else then you will need to adjust the environment for where it is placed and make sure the temperature doesn’t go below 50 degrees F(Fahrenheit) at night. In my own personal philosophy you can grow any plant anywhere so long as you have the ability to adjust the environment for that plant. You could have an avocado tree for example and have a great first year growing it by making your bedroom hot enough and it will come out of it’s seed quite fast. I’m going to make this in sections, for trees so that way you have a good idea for which environment or settings is needed for which tree and this is because again there is no one answer meets all for growing trees. Simply, “What is the best route I should take for growing this tree?”, as every tree and every plant will indeed vary on type. For now I will give a few out, as there are several trees out there and this would be a never ending blog if I tried to do every single tree so I will make this in parts covering various trees that I have grown, and know how to work with best.

Oak Tree

– Every type Oak Tree is grown from an acorn as most know this haha, but there are many different types of acorns and they can be used for making gluten free type of flour mix. The Oak Trees are underrated compared to others. Pretty much any good acorn can be used and no don’t worry about accidently running into Poison Oak’s acorns as the Poison Oak (Also known as the Pacific Poison Oak – Toxicodendron diversilobum) isn’t even a true oak tree as it’s from the¬†Anacardiaceae family being more related to the Sumac and cashews so poison oak cannot even make an acorn to begin with. Being from the family Fagaceae the Oak family will have a variety of different oaks to choose from such as the Red Oak, The White oak, Black Oak, Water Oak, Pin Oak, and the Bur Oak which has a cap that looks like a wild crazy hair doo, making it look very cute. In the west you have the Blue Oak, and the Coast Live Oak which is very unique looking acorn. There are many different ones but these are some of the more popular ones I named. For example the White Oak tree is associated with many Druids and Vikings and had been loved for centuries and is the official Illinois state tree. The White Oak can grow to be 100 feet tall (30.48 meters) and it grows in moist or dry soil, but prefers rich, well-drained uplands, slopes. Mature trees occur in full sun to shade, but young white oaks thrive only in full sun so they don’t enjoy the shade and therefore do not regenerate in heavy shaded areas due to the lack of the exposure to the sun or light. Now to think this is just details on one of the 400 roughly species that exist of Oak and there are about 200 in North America

– Luckily most and almost all Oaks will operate the same for growing. You find acorns on the ground first, they will be the mature and ready but you have to check them first to see if they will grow or not, so in other words you want one that is viable. First you check and see if it has any holes in it, and if not it is looking like a keeper. Typically you will have insects like the weevil plant it’s off-spring in an acorn so it may grow there as a baby grub and chill there for a bit until it’s ready to come out of it. So if you cracked one open that had a hole in you would usually see a grub inside of it. So that acorn will be no good for growing. If you don’t see a hole in and would like to still see if it would be defective or not to grow then you will place it in a cup or container of water. The rule of thumb here is that if it floats it is no good and if it sinks they may be used for growing or eating. You will remove the caps of the acorn and soak it in water for about 24 hours. You can soak as many as you can if you want in the same containment so long that it fits. If you do not wish to plant during the spring, you find them and decide to wait till next spring then cover them with damp sand in a plastic sealable bag in the refrigerator for the most ideal results. When you decide to plant them after a good soak over night ideally you will put them in a one gallon sized container or at least a container that can get 12 to 15 inches deep with a drainage system as a start. You can always transplant them later. In your container you will want at ideally 2 inches of soil above or on top of the acorn. So plant 2 inches deep with your acorn. Keep the soil moist and it will sprout up within a few weeks. Full sun or light is deal for most Oaks. There is no special requirement for soil, the Ph scale should be 7.0 but the Pin Oak can easily tolerate 6.0 – 6.5 Ph and A Swamp White Oak enjoys it’s hydromorphic soils and peat moss in it’s soil. Special Sands can raise the Ph scale and lemon juice or vinegar can lower it.

Maple Tree

IMG_0038

  • – Alright so here we have all seen what we call “helicopter wings” when we were younger. A lot of us didn’t know what these were once upon a time but they are actually maple tree seeds and they will grow into Maple Tree seeds once they are planted. In my own experience they grow pretty quick often being seen in one week sprouting up. They will grow in any type of soil really. The most popular ones of the maple tree family Sapindaceae and of the genus Acer are the Sugar Maple, Black Maple, Red Maple due the high sugar content in it’s sap for making maple syrup. Any Maple Tree can be used to make syrup as well. Some corporations out there that make syrup also at times won’t even use sap from Maple Trees but other trees and sometimes not even sap from trees at all but instead corn syrup, but this why authentic maple syrup is so amazing in taste. The Silver Maple Tree and Japanese Maple Tree are so very popular as well.

– To grow maples you will need your maple tree seed and any good dirt for soil. It can be Top Soil, or soil mixed with mulch in it but really with soil it’s anything and should be looked at like an experiment where you can add certain things into it to give it more nutrients for a specific type of plant so that way it can grow. The Maple Tree like the Oak is not too picky it likes any soil even some sand in it’s soil will do nicely along with a drainage system if you are going to plant in a pot. Keep the soil moist but there is no need to over water it. This is one of the easiest trees to grow and under the right conditions these trees can grow up too 80 feet (24.384 meters). The ideal Ph scale for soil in Maples is 6.5 to 7.5, though the Japanese Maple prefers less than 7.0.

Avocado Tree

Avocado pit

– The Avocado Tree is yes, as we all may know a more tropical plant but they are pretty much sub-tropical trees. It can grow up to 40 feet tall under the right conditions. While they grow in a tropical environment you can grow them any where as long as the temperature remains above freezing level. Ideal Ph scale ideal is 6.5 once planted in the soil, but you can do 2 parts regular soil and 1 part sand and mix in your container. There is no dormancy phase for Avocados so if they die, they are probably dead for good. Some Avocado trees will bare fruit in 4 to 5 years after it is planted, others can take as long as 15 years before the first fruit appears.

– Here displayed in the upper-right is an avocado pit that I made, any cup will do and you put the avocado seed in there and attach 3 to 4 tooth picks in into each with a downward slant. The tip of the avocado seed must be pointed up to do this correctly and the more roundish part at the bottom. Most seeds should germinate in this pre-germination method. You will see it sprout up after you see a “tail” as I call it appear below it which would be the root. To do this right you need to change the water in the cup or container ideally once or twice a week so that way it doesn’t mold and then peel off any dead skin of the seed that is peeling off. Do this correctly you could get this going within 2 weeks instead of a month. Once the root hits the end of the cup you need to take it out and plant it in a pot bare that’s a minimum of 12 inches deep. You may need to transplant it around the second year. If the leaves turn yellow early or begin to fall off while it is in a warm environment then you will need to transplant it fast. This applies to almost everything you grow as well. Honestly screw small pots or containers for starting trees in, you will be wasting your money, those should be used for herbs only because they restrict growth room when your plant needs to grow. Buy the biggest pot possible for growing trees especially the avocado so that way you don’t have to worry about transplanting it later unless you decide to outside. If you are up north, or live in a colder region though you will need to cover it during the winter with a specialized type of canopy or thermal blanket, it is also always good to fertilize or add nitrogen to the soil, this will help the Avocado tree build up a tolerance to cold stress or any damage that may occur. There are 3 main types of Avocados as well. The Mexican Avocado, Guatemalan avocado, and the West Indies variant. The Mexican Avocado is the most ideal for growing up north as this one can withstand temperatures as low as 25 degrees but still would need to be covered. You would need to build a frame, and heavy blankets or thermal blankets. Do not prune any damaged branches until the cold weather is gone for good that year. If you have the option to take your avocado tree indoors do that then if possible. What is also important is building up your avocado tree while it is young to strong winds so that way if you ever do put it outdoors in the future it will resist the winds or any storms and not break apart so definitely leave it outside if it’s in a pot with a drainage system for the summer and bring it back in before winter. Personally though if you live in a colder region I would wait till it’s much older and have no choice but to transplant it outside permanently, so that way it has it’s bark and is strong enough for that. In a few months it should look like this below:

20180529_174414

Dormancy Phase

Lastly let’s talk about dormancy really quick, in this phase it will be winter, yes winter not anytime before if your seedling or sapling isn’t looking too good before that then it means it is dying from something else. Sometimes your tree may even skip dormancy phase if it is indoors. Remember Avocadoes have no dormancy phase they just grow slower in the winter, they should not die. However some trees may not come out of dormancy and do die completely during the winter, these unfortunate events can happen from a prior condition like a fungus or mold. Sometimes the young trees don’t make it or dry up completely. It is important to give your trees water before the first frost comes of that year for winter, especially willows. Watering some trees is optional once a month for certain trees during the winter. Each Tree would vary as well. Sometimes a tree will also be alive but not come back out of dormancy during a year. This means you need to really water it more and give it additional sun, as this experience can happen to younger trees during their first times in dormancy. There is a way to check and see if it is alive or dead by doing a test, you will take a knife and peel a layer of bark off to see if it is still green. If it is. then your tree is alive and if not, then well it’s dead and may most likely not come back. Here below the test is done on a young maple tree and don’t worry about the tree it will quickly regenerate it’s bark in a matter of a couple days.

Guild Gardening and 2 Plants that could possibly end world hunger?

chestnut-13197_960_720

First off what we must know is this, world hunger can only ever end unless the population of the world as a whole general census came together and worked out a plea to have each country agree to a sort of treaty to where they all set aside land strictly for the use of growing a crop. Many countries already in the world have a good majority of crops growing for different uses but also unfortunately many of which are genetically modified or engineered.¬†These being corn, soy, beets and wheat are 90%¬†roughly grown all GMO. Would could argue that this great as these crops will grow faster and these preservatives will keep them fresh but the problem is our bodies cannot intake these preservatives and other ingredients¬†and can be toxic. For example¬†Glyphosate that active ingredient found in “Round Up” that is used to kill weeds is being used in majority of our commercial brand crops and while biodegradable it will¬†unfortunately remain inside¬†among the crops we¬†eat this mainly among¬†the soy crop especially. We would need to grow fields of organic crops to fix this, yes it would be slower and produce smaller yields of fruit but no more health problems¬†and living longer and happier healthy lives is worth it. So what about plants that can be grown in the woods and forests? We don’t need to chop down a whole bunch of trees¬†for fields of produce at all actually.¬†Matter of fact the best thing to do is “Vertical Gardening” or “Guild Gardening” which means we can use poles and trees for our plant buddies. Vertical Gardening we can use man made objects for the plants to climb on, teepees, poles, a trellis, you name it but how about a tree already a plant in nature that would love to have vines growing on it. Most people in our modern day don’t realize that originally in nature many plants simply grew on trees, these include wild grapes (Which can be edible) as well as nightshade (Poisonous) as there are many plants that grow on trees and prefer to rather than in a field. A “guild garden” is called this because a tree will be the guild master and provide shade and other nutrients for the¬†other plants then the bushes and vines and¬†strong¬†herbs to help prevent predators. The Iroquois used the “Three sisters” Method when growing their crops, They would have corn¬†and then beans grow around the corn and climb on it and¬†in¬†return the¬†beans gave¬†nutrient to the soil for the corn which specifically was nitrogen and then have squash grown¬†around to make this harder for predators to get at the corn. Nature has done guild gardening on its own without mankind interfering for thousands for years and it may be soon time again¬†where everyone should know this and apply this and remember how nature does things. What are 2 plants¬†that can then that would really help as vital food source and help end world hunger then? Well no matter what¬†some of us are not blessed to own plots of land yet sadly so what to do? If your in the city rooftop gardens if¬†possible but if your in the suburbs and have little land to use?¬†Well I would say go the local woods and grow strawberries and peanuts. Why these two plants?¬†These 2 plants¬†will produce on their own with low maintenance required because both of these plants will produce something we farmers and gardeners¬†call “runners”¬†and these runners¬†are the ultimate way of procreation¬†in my opinion, the plant will literally look for more space and produce another plant. Strawberries can use their seeds to procreate or¬†branch out and dip down and produce another plant from it’s mother plant. Peanuts will be very similar but these runners will come from under the ground from another peanut as well. Both will reproduce¬†another plant on their own free will. Peanuts will be great for the other plants¬†in the woods as well as¬†they will give nitrogen to the soil due to this being in the same family as beans (Legume)¬†as it is technically a bean and not¬†a¬†nut. In terms of a¬†food source all know that¬†peanuts will give much protein for those who are vegan or vegetarians. So while the peanut does not create an actual runner like a strawberry it does grow unusual.¬†Peanuts are self-pollinating plants, meaning they¬†will not require outside aid, such as honey¬†bees or other insects carrying¬†pollen from one plant to another in it’s¬†reproduction cycle. After the seed is planted, the first flowers begin to appear¬†roughly 5 weeks¬†and¬†will¬†bloom for six or more weeks. As each flower grows older, it drops closer to the ground so that, when it does come time to pollinate, the ovary¬†comes close to the ground to allow for easy insertion of it’s pod. So both of these plants are quite vital for growing, strawberries will give Vitamin C and other antioxidants. One serving of strawberries contains 51.5 mg of vitamin C-about half of your daily requirement, a full cup would then be roughly 100mg. I know¬†unfortunately many people are now having more allergies from food such as peanuts and this is increasing with every generation and there are many theories¬†on why this has happened, the most popular theory is mankind being to used to eating synthetic foods and¬†products as well as due the artificial ingredients in food now being used¬†for decades.¬†My Grandfather always told me “There was never this many allergies back when I was growing up” and quite frankly I believe him. So maybe peanuts may not be as suitable as strawberries but they sure do grow fast as well on it’s own and even has a type actually called “runner peanuts” that is now favored in the United States. Perhaps it is a fast growing sub-species or tastes better.

Overall the point is that it is without a doubt if grown naturally and in the wild these plants will grow fast and can be dominant to survive on it’s own and this could theoretically end world hunger if everyone played a hand in it. Both of these plants would require pretty much full sun but they would thrive regardless. as I have planted both already in woods before. Some animals will definitely do anything to snag those peanuts but there will be many if given the chance to grow.

Choosing the right seeds?

Organic Brands is a must!

seeds.jpg

So let’s talk about what seeds are worth getting, to put it short it’s any brand of seeds that is non GMO and organic or of heirloom variety. The Burpee website gives you a great description under it’s Non-GMO policy page.

As of April 2014 it states that “As America’s oldest and most trusted supplier of vegetable and flower seeds and plants, Burpee has provided home gardeners with the very best open pollinated and hybrid varieties for more than 100 years. We take great care and pride in supplying seeds that are well suited for both conventional and organic gardens across the U.S., with quality and integrity foremost in mind. For that reason, we do not sell seed that has been genetically modified (GMO). Burpee has never bought or sold GMO seeds, and we have no intention of doing so in the future. There is profound confusion by the public as to what genetically modified seed is and is not. We are here to provide facts that we hope eradicate that confusion, specifically as it relates to Burpee and our seeds. It is important to understand that hybrid seeds are very different from those that are genetically modified. Hybrids seeds are purposely bred in the field to produce offspring that have the best traits of their parent plants. Through a process of careful and painstaking selection, our breeders hand pollinate varieties using controlled transfer of pollen from one parent to another parent, which results in a specific and consistent combination of desirable characteristics. Horticultural experts identify the traits of varieties from within the same species over a period of months and years and develop new varieties that are grown in trial gardens at Fordhook Farm in Pennsylvania. This is much the same process as is used by horse or dog breeders to produce offspring with the desired results. GMO seeds are quite different, however. GMO varieties are not bred in a field or greenhouse; rather, they are developed in a laboratory setting using modern biotechnology. Techniques such as gene splicing are used to extract traits from different species to insert them in to another plant. According to the Non-GMO Project, ‚Äúthis experimental technology merges DNA from different species, creating unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes that cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding”.”¬†

The company Burpee (www.burpee.com) is absolutely amazing for giving all that information alone at their website and is amazing in regards to the amazing amount of products they have to offer. As for the heirloom seeds they are vegetables that are pretty much old-time varieties (pre WW2) open-pollinated instead of hybrid, and saved and handed down through multiple or many generations of families so in other words they to are organic or non GMO.

Other non-gmo brands that are also organic would include “Seedsnow” or http://www.seedsnow.com and they are probably my favorite company as all their products are non GMO and organic as some companies will have non GMO seeds or products but not organic (Which simply means pesticides were used prior but non genetic engineering and it should be noted that this can be grown still organic since no genetic modification was used). “Seedsnow” will provide you also with great deals where you can save 5 dollars off with every purchase with coupons that will be provided to you after your first purchase and even leave happy faces and wish you the best of luck when growing their products. There will be even more ways you can save money here at their website as well, including free shipping with orders over 20 dollars.

Other good non-GMO and Organic¬†brands out there will include “Seeds of change” as well as “Seedz” which can be obtained on Amazon.

Vitamin B17 (Laetrile)

“The Cure to Cancer”

Laetrile contains a high amount of vitamin B17 found in apricot fruits, and almonds. They contain Amygdalin an entity known to kill cancer cells.

–¬†Amygdalin contains 3 basic components; Glucose, Benzaldehyde, and Cyanide.

Cyanide is a cancer destroying agent, it’s a¬†harmful compound that¬†is dangerous to all cancer cells, this equally makes the laetrile substances dangerous to cancer.

РStudies have shown laetrile is quite harmless to cells but very toxic to cancer cells as this is the same with the cyanide compound. Cyanide is almost found in all fruits we the ratios of which will vary from different fruit.

My References: Edward G. Griffon stated that “A control for cancer is known and it comes from nature but is not widely available to the public because it cannot be patented and therefore is not commercially attractive to the pharmaceutical industry.” Dr. Kanematsu Sugiura¬†who¬†has authored more than 250 papers and was a prominent entity at Kettering Cancer Center took it upon himself to study Laetrile, discovered it worked by curing tumors¬†on mice at first, a swift movement was the beginning then a shut down and his research was buried and destroyed inevitably. This was documented from overall the 1970s as well fun fact.

-The FDA has made¬†the purchase of¬†laetrile supplements almost¬†impossible to obtain Vitamin B17. In order for a doctor to use laetrile supplements they or their patient must confess to the FDA that the doctor is using laetrile in their practice in¬†other words the supplement are effectively illegal¬†because no doctor wants to admit using it. A daily dose of apricot kernels will range from 24¬†to 40, and¬†for a person in remission 16 apricot kernels a day used as minimum. I’m just going to say it if you fear the idea of using this method it is understandable for someone who never eats seeds like that or raw almonds so I encourage you that if you believe nothing from this blog or article then do the home work yourself and find and review the comments of those who have eaten multiple apple seeds and have lived, our bodies can actually tolerate certain amounts of Cyanide and even adapt too it. This will apply when those who grow up eating these things and only stuck to natural foods straight out of nature. It is all about a level of tolerance of eating these things, certain things should not be touched at all such as black nightshade and it’s berries of death but almonds, apricots and apples and seeds can be tolerated in small doses and eventually the body can tolerate even more. If you get a stomach stop and use common sense that you shouldn’t eat anymore, it is like that when eating or digesting anything. Those with the B blood type tend to have better luck digesting dairy than someone than the O blood type for example.

Further Vitamin B17 Analysis and the science behind it

– The Cyanide content of amygdalin is in the form of¬†cyanogenic glucoside of¬†the nitriloside family of water-soluble sugar compounds found in plants.¬†Science has studied this substance and found that it inhibits cancer cell growth and causes cell apoptosis in kidney cells, breast cells, and even prostate cancer cells. Cancer¬†cells contain an enzyme called glucoside at three thousand times the level of a healthy cell when this enzyme comes into contact with a nitriloside a chemical reaction brakes down the nitriloside into hydrogen cyanide and benzaldehyde. The cyanide kills the cell, a healthy cell doesn’t contain enough glucosidase to release the cyanide.

– In¬† 2007, the USDA mandated that all U.S grown¬†almonds be pasteurized which means heated for those who don’t know or¬†for non-organic almonds be gassed with their toxic gas propylene oxide (PPO) a probably human carcinogen. It should be noted that PPO is banned in Canada and the European Union. Pasteurization destroys enzymes and valuable phytonutrients and lowers vitamin E¬†content.

“I think its important to understand that government, in most cases is not the solution its the problem.¬†As long as people think that the government is supposed to take care of them and protect them and that they can trust their politicians – as long as they think that they’re in deep trouble because of that kind of thinking” –¬†Edward Griffon, author and film maker and advocate for natural cancer treatment.

In my personal opinion there is a cure for anything, most is probably something out of nature and the only thing that matters is how¬†ambitious are you to¬†want to live healthy and to your max potential? Do you want to live in fear of these things every day? Do¬†you want to live normally if normally involves chemotherapy and a low success rate? I know I don’t. So it important¬†you act now and not deal with this bullshit. Thank you¬†for taking time out of your day to read through my blogs and support my website and¬†business.

The Wonderful Benefits of Garlic

Origins

Garlic has been long used since the ancient era or ancient times, it was favored by many nations who knew it’s healing qualities. It has been used by the Egyptians, Greeks, Babylonians, Assyrians, Romans and the Chinese as well. In Asian countries they learned to transform or caramelize garlic into Black Garlic¬†which will typically¬†involve heating bulbs of garlic¬†over the course of many days to weeks.¬†Black Garlic is loved for it’s rich antioxidants. For over thousands of years (Probably roughly 5000)¬†it has been used for consumption, medicine, money, even as well for potion making and magic. It is debated¬†where it first ever originated from as it is one¬†of the oldest cultivated crops though it is believed to be native from Asia and Siberia. It is closely related to onions (It pretty much is an onion being in the same genus¬†“Allium” though the word is Greek or Latin for Garlic) and related to shallots, leeks, green¬†onions, and chives.

Nutrition and Medicinal Qualities

Allium sativum otherwise known as the “common¬†garlic” has 202 calories per cup (136g) this is typically roughly one whole garlic plant itself not just one clove of it. One clove is¬†3 grams and only 5 calories and no fat. For the general¬†whole root of the garlic plant I’ll give the rest of the nutrient facts below:

  • Total fat¬†0.7 grams
  • Saturated fat 0.1 grams
  • Polyunsaturated fat 0.3 grams
  • Monounsaturated fat 0 grams
  • Cholesterol 0 mg
  • Sodium 23 mg
  • ¬†Potassium 545 mg
  • Total Carbohydrates 45 grams
  • Dietary Fiber 2.9 grams
  • Sugar 1.4 grams
  • Protein 9 grams
  • Vitamin A is 0%
  • Vitamin B-6 is 85%
  • Vitamin B-12 is 0%
  • Vitamin C is 70%
  • Vitamin D is 0%
  • Calcium is 24%
  • Iron 12%
  • Magnesium 8%

Percent daily values are based on a 2000 calorie diet need. Your daily values may be a higher or lower depending on your calorie needs. Sources include USDA for the nutrient facts. Many of the healing properties of raw garlic are linked to its strong antioxidant qualities. These antioxidant properties are largely attributable to allicin, the same compound that is responsible for the antifungal properties of crushed raw garlic. Allicin has been¬†noted as one of the most potent antioxidants found in foods. In addition to allicin, garlic delivers antioxidant vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C as shown above¬†and selenium as well as zinc. According to a large-scale review of epidemiologic studies, the strongest evidence for anti-cancer effects of raw garlic pertains to stomach and colorectal cancers. For even more information on it’s high medicinal properties, the link below can take you to the original source where I obtained some of my research from.

Replanting

garlic

As shown in the photo above with the garlic I am holding¬†this is typically around the timeframe of what garlic looks like when it is trying to regrow its self, but most people don’t know this and when they see this result they usually just toss it and they¬†think the garlic has gone bad. This is often the case with onions when they regrow themselves as well and then also likewise when potatoes turn green from to much exposure from the sun but what is really happening is that even the root potatoes are re-growing themselves and chlorophyll is being¬†produced this will make a chloroplast cellular¬†wall that only plant cells¬†can make thanks to their organelles called chloroplasts. So when this happens it is time to give back to nature and re-plant your food/plants. Plants will naturally do these things with the helps of erosion, certain animals and insects. Mostly all root vegetables can do these things as well fruits¬†that will branch out underneath such as the¬†peanut¬†and make more¬†peanuts or strawberries when they make another¬†stem and dive into the ground once again, they are called “runners” typically by most¬†farmers and people.

When planting garlic, you take the clove and with the tip or pointy part up you¬†dig a small hole¬†an inch to an inch and half deep however most people on average will do 2 to 3 inches deep to be on the safe side, I personally plant about one inch in and have no problem doing so, so when replanting and it’s already sprouting (The green stem) it¬†will be even¬†easier to grow because it is already doing so without any nutrients from soil!¬†So from my personal experience watching this happen after¬†replanting them I saw that¬†garlic grows if not 3x faster when already sprouting again. You can regrow from the clove or from the seeds which are located at the¬†top of the flower¬†before it buds and turns pink,¬†though it is typically better to let them grow through the full growth cycle as once¬†they flower they can be pollinated and it is even easier always to grow from the clove. You can grow them indoors as I am¬†a firm believer in you can grow anything anywhere at anytime so long as you can manipulate the environment or control the environment and make it hospital for that plant. Growing¬†garlic indoors¬†in pot will require a very big pot 12 inches deep at¬†least, during my experience at first I thought it would be less needed but garlic roots go¬†deeper than I originally had thought. Spreading the cloves or seeds should be 6 inches apart but you can probably get away with 5 to 5¬†1/2¬†inches apart so long as you are diligent about it.¬†Your next best bet if you are growing indoors would be to constantly have the garlic near¬†an open¬†window it needs much sunlight and fresh air to grow.¬†Without the spacing requirement and soil depth needed¬†as well as the sunlight and fresh air this will be a pain in the ass to grow as it will keel over and not reach it’s full growth cycle. Most plants indoors will require these basic requirements for max potential, those small pots are only good for starting out on most and certain plants but then you will need to transplant them. You won’t be able to do that with root vegetables nor peanuts and corn and other certain plants. Small pots are mainly good for starting seedlings such as tomatoes and peppers and then you can probably get away with keeping certain herbs in a small¬†pot for it’s full growth cycle as most of those won’t travel to deep with their roots but the key is the bigger the pot the more room for potential¬†for those roots and the bigger the plant can get. However if you grow them indoors they will smell so you have been warned but they will keep certain pests away as well.¬†If you are looking to do companion planting garlic will grow great with peaches, apples, roses and tomatoes. Bad companion plants¬†for garlic will include peas, beans (probably anything from the Legume family with that being said), strawberries and cabbage so don’t plant it near those plants.

Holy and Spiritual Advice

We all have heard of those myths and tales where onions have taken bad spirits or bad spiritual energy out of the air and absorb the negative energy or curses from a witch or where garlic can ward off vampires who really knows if any of that could be all true but what is actually happening is that onions are actually taking the toxins out of the air and the environment, it can even do this with chemicals from fresh paint in the air if you were to leave an onion in a room with fresh paint. Onions are rich in sulfur containing compounds that are responsible for their strong odor or smell. Sulfur is a very powerful detox element and helps the body to release toxins, especially for the liver. Foods that are naturally high in sulfur will also help the body to detox from heavy metals like arsenic, lead and cadmium. What is a fact though was that during the black plaque or the bubonic plague in Europe was that the plague doctors did in fact use plants like onions and had some effect with leaving an onion in room or onions for that matter to prevent illness this did work in some cases and this was carried on even until the modern era to prevent the flu or influenza during the early 1900s. So what is not to say that if vampirism was real and we look at it as some sort of disease or retrovirus that garlic would repel the entity haha? Well we do know that garlic worth while to obtain either way to treat illnesses but on the spiritual note of growing plants this is important you should talk to your plants even if the theory can just be the CO2 from your breath can help it grow faster or if you believe the quantum mechanics of that showing your love with plants and talking positive to those plants will help it grow either way. The positive energy you display to your plants will make the yield bigger and the quality of the plant in every way better but this will require diligence and patience as well. If you are firm believer in Jesus Christ like I am and follow certain teachings as well you may want to pray and add holy water to your plants to help them grow faster and stay healthy, I myself have had great experiences with this.

Facts of the Bell Pepper

This is the excerpt for your very first post.

Facts of the Bell Pepper

20160905_170146

Where the hell do these awesome fruit come from?

–¬† Peppers are native to Mexico, Central America, and South America in terms of their home countries of origin.

–¬†They were mainly found in Peru and¬†they were cultivated mainly in South America. Christopher Columbus brought them to Europe in the year 1493. Europeans had given their name, for the only pepper they had known about until that time frame¬†were black and white peppercorn spices mainly.

– And while they have the same name they are not related. The spices grown and that are grinded down are from the seeds¬†of the plant species called¬†Piper nigrum or simply the “black¬†grounded pepper plant”¬†haha quote on quote. Our actual Bell Peppers belong to the species Capsicum, Capsicum annuum which is one group of Capsicum species that grow mainly the United States modern daily. Tabasco and Habanero peppers which belong to other species. Peppers are also in the nightshade family surprisingly¬†along with other types of fruit. The dried peppers later on brought from the West Indies were much hotter than the pepper of the¬†Caucasus as many Europeans claimed. The broad term of pepper had stuck around ever since that time frame.

Nutrition:

– It should be noted there are many types of peppers and bell peppers so this will definitely vary from different pepper to pepper. It should be known that the green bell pepper is typically the Red, Yellow, and Orange Bell Pepper before ripened until it’s final stage. This will also apply to the lesser known Bell Peppers (The Violet/Purple, Brown, White and Black Bell Peppers¬†respectively). So for the sake of this blog we will use the green bell pepper aka the¬†unripen stage of the average Red Bell Pepper.

  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper¬†(Scale¬†Approx. 2-3/4″¬†long, 2-1/2″ Dia.) (119g) will have 24 calories.
  • Total Fat is 0.2 g (Saturated Fat¬†0.1g, Polyunsaturated Fat 0.1g)
  • Cholesterol¬†0 mg
  • Sodium 4 mg
  • Potassium 208 mg
  • Total Carbohydrate 6 g
  • Dietary Fiber 2 g
  • Sugar 2.9 g
  • Protein 1 g
  • Vitamin A¬† 8%
  • Vitamin¬†B-6¬† 15%
  • Vitamin B-12¬† 0%

For those that do not know percent daily values are based on a 2000 calorie diet. Your daily values may be higher or lower depending on your calorie needs. This would be according to the USDA standard. So typically eating any heathy foods or produce in this case is ideal, it would also be ideal to eat food that is nowadays organic and not GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) and while it is great now that people are waking up to the truth of synthetic and processed foods this must be known and taken to a grand scale.

Why eat organic?

Well there is a lot of confusion what is going on lately in the world, the fact is cross breeding foods and creating hybrid species isn’t as secretive as it used to be, as this has actually been done for thousands of years. Certain plants used to be a lot bitter or harder to eat, certain¬†wild plants have now been cultivated now easier for our bodies to digest and consume. However in the last century certain plants have been genetically modified now through other means, this happens from artificial hormones. For example medical groups are now condemning the use of the GM bovine growth hormone, because the milk treated from cows has more of the hormone IGF-1 (insulin- like growth factor 1) which in short is linked to cancer. There are many different types of all this shit, by now it should almost be common sense not to eat McDonalds. It’s not 100% beef at all in those patties and a lot of filler of other things is used and God knows what the hell could even be and there are many different theories all of which so far what I have read definitely should not be eaten. Corn, Soybeans and wheat now are the top 3 typically most genetically modified foods and they are found in mostly everything. Think about it for a moment when was being allergic to gluten a problem let’s say a couple decades ago even? Wheat has been used for 2000 years, this is only problem now because higher organizations have tampered with what was once a natural plant. There are a lot of overall health conditions now and this will never stop now until a very great change one day happens.
